Just a post from a proud happy Day. Its great to have these two boys as my fishing partners but even better they have each other creating memories they might not cherish now but will last a lifetime. They live pretty close to the creek and will walk, board or ride bikes to creek and sometimes a fellow fishermen will pick them up. They spend a lot of time together and I love it. They also started tying their own flies and pretty much using fly equipment, well my youngest snapped his last week but it's being replaced. Just a couple of pictures they sent me yesterday, lucky buggers.FullSizeRender 2.jpg FullSizeRender.jpg

First fish is a chinook:

Dark brown / yellow colour, heavily spotted, tail completely spotted, black mouth, firm tail, no hook on the yap.

second a coho:

Silvery (at quick glance can be mistaken for a steelie), white where the teeth erupt from the mouth, less spotted, tail only spotted on upper part, flimsy tail, pronounced hook on yap
