River fishing can be tough and disappointing at times.Keep at it and you will get one and then you will be hooked.

As said before talk with people and read the Raven guide. Boys and I started just a few years ago and it didn't take us to long to get the Drift of it. Learn to read the water, hook sets are free, you will loose tackle, do lots of walking even if not fishing, don't be afraid to change baits often, fish the whole pool or run not just where everyone else is drifting.. My number one piece of advice is learn one creek or system really well then try new waters. Learning one system really well will hopefully pay off with fish caught which will give you confidence at other locals.
