A fly tying bobbin works just fine, as in the attachments.

I've used the bobbin to loop my fly line and it is super strong, stronger than 25lb mono at least.

Yes it's an exallent knot to use for Fly fishing.
It slides through your guides with ease.

Mostly being a saltwater fishermen.
I use the PR Knot for everything from Marlins to Crappies.

Even with a Bimini Twist Knot on my main line,
I'll serve my wind on leader with a serving tool or a bobbin to finish it !

"Wind on leaders require 16 strand hollow core braid & correct size
hollow Core needle or a piece of wire leader to make them".

With a Bimini Twist & Wind On leader method.
Make up a bunch of 20' to 30' wind on leaders in your tackle bag.
You can change out your leaders after a big fight without tying any knots.
Very efficient, I hate tying knots when I'm supposed to be fishing.
