Hi all

I'm over from the UK in the second week in September and staying for a few days at the Sauble Beach Marina Lodges. What is the fishing like on the Sauble river? I'll be bringing a medium-heavy spinning rod and a selection of lures.  What species can I expect and what lures work?

Thanks

Sean

Bass, Walleye,Perch and Trout. The mouth of the river is a great spot to start this time of year. Spoons crank baits , swim baits anything goes. Good luck.

Sauble River has Bass,& perch. It may be a little early for trout unless there is rain. Lots of small lakes nearby with good bass, pike, pickerels. .

Also Saugeen River is 20 minutes south, and is a much bigger flow - again if there is rain it will draw early steelhead trout.
