Just got back from a week of Muskie fishing with my son in the Kawartha's . We fished Balsam , Sturgeon and Pigeon lakes . Weather was not to good rain ,cool temps but the worst thing was the wind one day it was 17 mph on Balsam tough fishing in that for Muskies . We boated 9 Muskies the biggest was 44" but had contact with 26 others by follows , hits and hooked and lost fish . Best lures were top water Doc,s , spinners and Bulldogs we had a couple hits and follows on cranks but none in the boat . 7 of the follows were from fish over 40" most were lazy follows a couple went around once on the 8 but then smiled and swam off . Here is my son with a fish from Balsam Lake .

Always glad to hear your reports Hank, good to see the weather didn't keep you away from the toothy ones
