Pike fishing in January

Just wondering if it's still possible to fish some pike ( from the shore ) or if its too late and one must wait until early spring to start fishing. I'm interested in trying to fish on the lake Ontario shores in the marinas and such.

I fish for pike until season closes.

Thanks for the reply. Don't the negative temperatures cause the Pike to move deeper into the lake? Also, is Bluffers park still a good fishing spot? It's been a while since I've last gone there.

Bluffs is always a good spot. I fish out the lake ontario side when it's frozen inside...
