Hey forum members, I hope everyone has been having a great summer and reeling in some big ones! I'm from the Caledon area but also reside in Barrie a few months out of the year so fish on Simcoe, surrounding bays/tribs and have went up to french river twice. I started fishing during college once my buddy introduced me to bass fishing and have been hooked since (no pun intended). Started with large mouth then small, pike, catfish, carp, walleye and just got into salmon and steelhead fishing last season. Hoping to pull in my first chromer this month if the rains are heavy! Went out a few times last August around 4am at port credit however no one had luck the days I had gone. Hoping to pick up my first centerpin this year as well since im still using a spinning reel on my float rod. It would be great to meet some like minded fishermen and toss some lines sometime!
