Anyone know if there is fishable open water at the Port Darlington pier? I'd rather not make the drive unless I'm a little more sure we'll be able to fish...thanks in advance.

Got my first Muskie on Pigeon Lake last week. Never even saw one before. Now I know what the fuss is about!

Went out to a Lake Ontario pier Tuesday and got into a few fish. Lots of leapers along the mudline and in the creekmouth as the waves pushed lake water upstream. My buddy and I landed 3 and lost 3.

The weather has been unstable and the water high for much of the summer in the Land O'Lakes Region of Southern Ontario. Water temps have been warm and stable though and the plentiful post-frontal lows made the bass bite quite good for the end of July and early August, at least on the lake we fished northwest of Kingston.

We caught dozens of 1-2 pounders and few 3-4 pounders dropshotting and dunking jigs tipped with soft plastics into weed pockets and off rock ledges. 

Anyway, hope you are all getting a chance to fish this summer!
