Meet up with Redneck at 6 am this morning and headed to Simcoe to hopefully get into some Lakers.
We were on the ice just after 7 am

We found our spots at around 120 ft
Drill our holes and set up huts.
20 min Redneck says fish on. I'm come over just in time to see him fight it and get its head out of the hole for it to head shake and throw the hook fish gone nice small laker to start sweet.
Well I was having one of those days from the start. First heater won't work. 3 rod and reel malfunctions later (probably my fault)
So after over an hour later I'm fishin, mind you no heat.
I had multiple chases and swipes today as did Redneck.
I went 1 for 6 and all of my hook ups came jigging less then 10 ft off bottom these fish came from the bottom and hammered it, we're as the swipes and failed chases were from fish 20 ft off bottom.

Ok guys . I'm new here but trust me I'm not new R fishing
I know plenty of "hotspots" And wouldn't have an issue sharing them as I've done on many other forums I'm a part of. I was merely asking a question to see if anyone has had some good luck over the last few days on the rivers and to see if anyone wanted to share . I didn't mean to offend the so called secret society of fishing as its clear this forum doesn't seem to be one that is out to share spots and provide helpful forums. Funny how you can use the Canadian sports fishing ask Italo site and Italo will not only help you he will get you to the spot. Such ashame a site like this thinks fishing is a secret . If we all were like that no one would learn anything about this sport or any. Why help people or guide them Instead let's just say I had a great day fishing in northern Canada today give me a break

This forum is the exact opposite of that! The real members of this site have become more of community. The amount of shear brilliant information I have gained from this site is unbelievable. Spots and all. But I will admit I found the more I contributed the more I got in return. Which seems fair to me.

Well I don't do reports and stuff man, not"that guy" I normally fish by myself, because that's the way I like it. If someone asks me "did u catch any thing" I say no, even if I got double digits, its t he way I was taught a sort of fishing code if u will, and I never ask someone "how many" unless I know them. I never help anyone with a fish because if you're a fisherman you shouldn't need help. No one can use my net because well for one why are u fishing without a net and second I've had too many nets broken from nuggets who don't know what they are doing. I don't mean to come across as un friendly I was just joking around

So why exactly are you here. Just to poach information and not contribute. Well keep on moving!!!!!
