as for opener- I stay away from the craziness and go a couple of days later. Score some brownie points with the wife and do some chores, kind of a credit for later. Have fun out there

Had my shoulder done a couple of years ago, pretty major. I asked the doc (former Leaf surgeon) will it be close to 100%? he told me 98% of the people get back to 98%... Tell dad it's very important to go to physio and do the exercises. It's difficult at first and a long recovery as it's got more movement than any joint in the body, kind of imagine a golf ball sitting on a tee held in by tendons and muscles. Good thing is in the summer he can go shirtless. He'll be back, just might have to take up two handed casting...
