Just simply pull a piece off Paul.TI how do you rig the sponge. I’m curious. Do you trim it to make it look like egg?
Roughly the size of a single egg.
Shape it with your fingers or if you carry scissors a quick trim.
Penetrate with hook.

You're breaking the forum rules by posting the trib name. Should black out the background so it doesn't give away that honey hole
I cant tell if your being really sarcastic or dead serious

I started with an Amundson reel.. it was a beauty, looks wise. I fought a few fish with it and it was fine when fish was on, but the drifts weren't great. Wasn't smooth to let line out. It lasted 2 weeks in my box but i had a great deal on it and sold it for what i bought it.
Picked up a used Islander and bought ABEC 7s for it. It didn't need them but i bought into the whole "spin it for 8 minutes!" bull poop. Don't do that. You don't need it to spin freely for 8 minutes.
Figure out your budget, and there's a good reel in that range.

I never really looked for Sponsors before but A few things happened & I sent my info into Ardent & was excepted as part of Team Ardent Canada & after a few casual talks at the Sportsman Show & Fishing Show I gave Steve a call at Blackfly Lures & we came up with a deal we both thought would work & after helping out at the Fishing Friendzy booth at the CNE the last couple of years & talking with Mike about Fishing Friendzy I'll be joining their Team & helping out where I can. This should be an exciting year on & off the water.
Thanx & Tight Lines SBK

Don't know what it is...but the material looks like...
Red thread for the buttBlack vinyl D rib for the body
Grey dubbing for thorax
Grizzly hackle for the hackleGood bead
Shouldn't be too hard to replicate. Put gold bead on the hook, (add lead wire if needed), put down a base layer of thread to the back of the hook, start with the red thread butt, tie in vinyl rib, advance the thread, wind on the rib, secure rib and cut excess, add dubbing and wrap in dubbing, tie in hackle, advance the thread, wrap the hackle, secure the hackle, a few more security wraps, tie off and head cement. Done.
either that or a red floss
