Try a zoom horny toad. You can work it accross and thruogh cover. Or in the open water retrieve on surface, legs flutter . Let sink and jerk it or swim it as well.

Extreme Marine I hear does great work. Works on lots of fishing boats. Etobicoke, 427 and albion area.

Troller motors are not very challenging to install.

Nice to see the fasination in their faces, as they hold and look at the fish.
I found with my young ones, I got them one of those kids spin cast combos. Got a few colourful orflashy lures (- the hooks), and they cast and watch the lure work as theycrank. Kept them busy till I was able to hook a fish for them to wind in.
Enjoy the many more outings togeather.
