Son had a PA day today and went out to the creek, he was surprised no one else was fishing and pretty much had his choice of holes to fish. Said when he set the hook on this he thought it was a Brown but knew right away it was an Atlantic when it broke the surface the first time. Good job buddy, and to top it off he caught it on one of his own copper john pattern flies.

Mine are perch and rockbass, not to sure what my favorite is out of the two. WE usually keep a few lakers every year for the pan too I love lake trout.

Boys and I did some scouting of locations to check out how pools,runs, log jams and what not are happening for opening weekend. Well we saw lots of fish, lots of places to try out, lots of new structure and three guys fishing a pool way above the CN tracks. Told them, and said I would not hesitate to call ministry. they said thanks for letting us know and started to pack up. We left but decided to do a loop around and sure enough they where right back at the pool. Ministry was called this time.
