Thanks for the info.

 

I am not sure on the weight of the rod, I'd have to look. It an older one, (found it in some of my grandfathers stuff and thought I'd give it a try).

 

I think I'll run into my fishing store and talk to the guys down there. Might have to pick up some new hardware :)  A second spool is something I thought of.
