I love fishing from my canoe.  This is how I rig it up specifically for fishing.

When I was a younger man I used to absolutely love the Rebel Crickhopper.  It achieved a legendary status in my mind.  I caught everything on it.  Unfortunately, Rebel changed the size of the beads used in the rattle and the lure was never the same.  Do you folks have a lure that you hold with great regard?  Here's my vid talking about the Crickhopper.

Here are some solid tips for dealing with extreme bug conditions.  I'm sure you Southern Ontario guys don't quite see the extremes we get in Northern Ontario but if you do these tips will help.
