Tungsten Freehook Jigs DIY.
The Light Weight Tungsten Weights.

Slide the weight on your leader line.
Tie the hook with a perfection loop knot. (Small Loop)
You can pin the tungsten or leave it free like a Knocker Rig.
If your just letting it sit there don't pin it.
This allows the fish to grab the bait without feeling resistance

Use appropriate sized soft plastics hook.
The hook swings freely giving better action to your plastics.

Bimini Twist Knot

05 July 2018 - 11:00 AM

This Knot is surprisingly easy to tie, just a little Practice ?

Offshore this knot is made with up to 30' long loop with a 30' monofilament shock line
prior to the 10' fluorocarbon leader.
The idea is to have double line around your reel when the fish gets close to the boat.
You need 30' mono in case you need to hand line the fish to the boat.
