Hey Earthworm,
I believe that is lower french area. I know the area better closer to the french river lodge, I'd say if you can fish near the rapids if you can make the treck or even near the railroad area. Given the water level and current use a weight and a jig near the bottom (30-40ft) and you should be in the strike zone.
Also been a while since I was there, but the narrows are pretty good but depends on where they are holding. Look for transitions from deep to shallow and that should help. Its a tricky place to fish and does take some time to find and locate em. Good luck!
